Chopped organic fresh carrots that are washed, peeled, chopped, and dehydrated. Perfect for DIY preparations. This 9 oz. package contains 3 cups of dried carrot which is equivalent to about 6 cups of fresh chopped carrot. To reconstitute carrots, add an equal amount of hot or cold water and reconstitute 5 minutes in hot water or 10 minutes in cold water. The rehydrated carrots will have a similar texture to fresh carrots. Vegan. No Gluten.

Preparation: Boil 1/4 cup of water for every 1/4 cup of carrot. Bring water to a boil, pour hot water over carrots, keep covered and let stand about 5 minutes. Can also be prepared with cold water. Cold water rehydrates in about 10 minutes. These carrots are not cooked and will be chewy but not crispy (similar to fresh). If you want soft or mushy carrots, you will need to actually cook the carrots by soaking in hot water for 10 - 15 minutes.
