Description
These fully cooked and dried lentils are an excellent way to add vegetarian protein and nutrition to your diet. Lentils are versatile and work well in various recipes, including soups, salads, and rice dishes. And preparing them couldn't be simpler - just add an equal amount of lentils to hot water and reconstitute for 5 minutes. No stove? No problem - you can also use cold water and let them rest for 10 - 15 minutes. Not only are lentils a great source of vegetarian protein, but they're also a rich source of complex carbohydrates that the body slowly digests and uses for energy without spiking blood sugar levels. Our lentil flakes are grown and produced in the USA. One package yields 5 cups of prepared lentils. Try these dehdyrated lentil flakes in your next trail recipe!
