Also known as crisped, puffed, or popped quinoa, it is made instant by popping the seed with dry heat rather than cooking in water and then dehydrating. You can eat it right out of the package. Airy and crunchy texture similar to rice crispies. Crisped quinoa is a good source of carbohydrates, protein, and iron and is gluten-free. Our organic crisped quinoa is made and packed in Northern California using golden quinoa seed from South America. Use it for snack food, trail mixes, cold-soaked cereals, energy bars, and as a substitute for couscous in cold-soaked trail salads. Available in 13 oz and 30 oz sizes. The 13 oz pack includes 6.5 cups of quinoa crisps and the 30 oz pack includes about 14 cups. Packaged in a barrier-proof reclosable pouches for easy storage.
