I loved MOST of the meals in the 7 -day backpacking food combo.

The good: pretty much anything with couscous, quinoa, and dehydrated apples. yum

The not so good: I had a hard time getting the penne dishes to come out right. They ended up too watery and the noodles were crunchy.

I LOVED the cold water meals because they were fast easy, and didn't require me to use more fuel. The Waldorf Salad was so yummy and next time, I'm eating that for almost every lunch

We hiked 9 days, 93 miles and over 20,000ft in elevation gain. This food was wonderful because I felt energized, full (but not too full) and ready to tackle a long day of hiking.

Wonderful Vegan Meals

I eat a completely plant-based diet, and camping and even travelling have been challenging. Now, THANKS to OUTDOOR HERBIVORE, I can do both easily by just packing my own food. Every one of the 21 meals I received has been delicious, nutritious, and EASY to prepare. The packages are easy to pack and light weight. Most of the ingredients are organic and the meals are so flavorful and their appearance is so appealing. I THANK YOU very much for the effort you have put into these meals. I will always keep them on hand.

Just finished my second order of your 7 Day Backpacking Meal Combo (Vegan) during a fall hike along Michigan’s western shoreline and rated it high. We were able to split many of the meals between the two of us and never felt hungry afterward. Directions and cook times were accurate and every meal turned out perfect and was delicious. Love the low sodium content too.

The Sunrise Tofu Scramble had an overpowering amount of disgusting onions, so many I could not eat it.

Apple Quinoa Oatmeal, was really good, the apples were yummy. This was my favorite so far. Another flavor would be good as someone else who reviewed it mentioned.

Naked Freckle Burrito was pretty good. I will bring some tortillas for next time.

Basil Walnut Penne was also pretty enjoyable.

Will buy all of them so far with the exception of the Sunrise Tofu Scramble.

Everything was cooked fine so far following the directions.
